Leo’s research focuses on using new technologies to label point clouds in machine learning systems. His work, published in Image and Vision Computing and at the 36th International Conference (IVCNZ 2022), suggests higher-dimensional labelling techniques can be more effective in specific contexts than previously understood.

Leading a team of more than 200 engineers, he ensured they met US government security standards and is an expert in security systems architecture. Now, he is raising a young family in his home country of New Zealand.
