Nylon is an AI research platform built for accountants and lawyers, grounded in authoritative Australian, New Zealand, and UK law and tax. This is our biggest release yet: five new features, each built to save you time and give you research and sources you can rely on. Here's a quick tour of what each feature does.

1. Meeting Notetaker: a senior colleague's read on every call

Connect your calendar and Nylon joins your Zoom or Teams calls automatically. The moment the call ends, you get the write-up you'd normally do yourself — and then some.

  • A summary and clear action items, ready to share

  • A billing-ready attendance note

  • A research note that flags the technical issues raised in the meeting (including the tests and traps that should have come up but didn't), with citations from NZ, AU and UK law and tax.

  • One-click conversion of that research into a file note or a follow-up email

It's the difference between leaving a meeting with a to-do list and leaving with the work half done. Learn more about the Meeting Notetaker.

2. A new research reasoning method for more thorough answers

Our latest release reasons through your question the way you would. It breaks the question into sub-questions, runs research using more search methods than before, takes notes on what it finds, and decides whether it has enough before it starts writing. If a line of enquiry turns up nothing, it pulls back and adjusts — rather than guessing.

You'll also see more of the research process as it happens, and you can pick the depth that suits the task:

  • Fast, standard and deep research modes, based on how complex the question is

  • More authoritative sourcing across UK tax, and AU and NZ tax and law

  • Sharper pinpoint references — it reads more of each document to find the strongest passage to cite

  • Tools that let you visualise how cases are treated and connected

The result is research that's more accurate, better sourced, and easier to trust. Learn more about the research agent

3. MCP Connector: Nylon inside the AI tools you already use

You already use AI tools like ChatGPT to draft, summarise and rework. The problem has always been trust, as generic AI tools don't know the law, and they can make things up. The Nylon connector fixes that.

Connect Nylon to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini (with Microsoft Copilot coming soon) and your AI tool can search and read the Nylon library from inside the tool you're already in. You get the fluency of general AI with authoritative AU, NZ, and UK sources underneath it.

  • Works in your preferred tool: Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini

  • Full access to Nylon across jurisdictions and focus areas

  • Every result links back to the source in Nylon, so you can verify before anything reaches a client

It fits your existing workflow instead of asking you to change it. Learn more about the connector

4. Engagement Context: brief the AI once, keep the context

Stop re-uploading the same documents and re-explaining the same background on every query. Set up an engagement, brief it the way you'd brief a junior, and then simply connect the file's documents and emails from your computer, SharePoint or Outlook.

  • One setup per engagement, with no repetition across conversations

  • Upload documents or connect SharePoint and Outlook, with optional live sync so sources stay current

  • See exactly what Nylon read and cited — a trail you can stand behind

  • Your data is never used for training

From then on, every question is grounded in that matter and stays current as your documents evolve — so you get fact-specific answers, faster.

5. Firm-branded Exports: your research, out on your letterhead

Turn any Nylon research response into a finished document on your firm's own template — no copying, no reformatting by hand. Upload your letterhead, and your fonts, colours and margins are preserved.

  • Export as Word (.docx) or PDF on your firm's template

  • Set up once by your admin, then ready for the whole team

  • Include citations in your exports

  • No Pro credits used

Go from a Nylon answer to a client-ready document in a single click.
